About Williams Landing Apartments

Over the next 12 months, Delta Apartments will be undergoing a substantial interior and exterior renovation. The property was purchased on April 1, 2011. This renovation will allow decent, safe and sanitary living for all residents of the apartments. We plan to change the name from Delta Apartments to Williams Landing Apartments.

The interior renovations include new kitchen and bath cabinets, new all electric appliances (refrigerator and stove), new electric hot water heater, new doors, new flooring and ceilings, new paint, lighting and plumbing fixtures. The renovated apartment will have showers in the tubs.

The exterior renovations include new windows, new doors, new roofs, substantial repairs to landings and stairwells, renovated office, community room and laundry room, reconfiguration of parking lot and drives, relocation of trash dumpsters, additional lighting and new fencing.

This renovation plan will require all current residents to vacate their current unit. Bona fide residents currently living at the apartments will be relocated into newly renovated apartments. The owner will be responsible for the cost of the relocation. This plan addresses the relocation process.

Generally, we will begin interior renovations with buildings 2, 3 and 4. The renovated units in these buildings will allow the majority of current residents to relocate into renovated units of buildings 2, 3 and 4. Unit size standards will be reviewed so that residents are relocated into appropriate unit sizes.

Both the current residents and the owner have rights and responsibilities relating to this relocation plan. The residents must cooperate with the move requirements in order to have an orderly renovation. The owner will assist and coordinate the moves to minimize the negative impact on any current residents. This Relocation Plan does not change any HUD Section 8 Program requirements.
