The Santa Clara Pueblo Housing Authority (SCPHA) has successfully operated an Indian housing program for sixteen years. Since its inception, SCPHA has constructed 165 housing units, developed under six separate projects or contracts. SCPHA operates within the reservation that is located in the northern New Mexico and provides housing service that includes Lease-Purchase and Mutual Help units. SCPHA is organized into three departments: administration, program management, construction & development, and possesses the managerial, technical, and administrative capability necessary to successfully complete and implement rehabilitation projects for the community.
It is the mission of the Santa Clara Pueblo Housing Authority's (SCPHA) to develop, maintain and operate safe adequate and affordable housing for eligible residents of Santa Clara Pueblo. With respect to Tribal traditions and Self-Governance, as well as; developing mechanisms for improved socio-economic status, preserving the integrity of Tribal land base, and advancing programs complementary to the growth, development and health of all Tribal residences.
