About Bonner Springs Housing Authority

The Bonner Springs Low-Rent Housing Development opened in 1970 and the City of Bonner Springs assumed management of the assisted housing program in 1977.

The Public Housing Authority manages 48 housing units for the elderly and families. Vaughn-Dale Apartments is a three-story building for the elderly and handicapped and there are five four-plex sites for families.

The Public Housing Authority provides low-income housing for eligible families. Our mission is to help families and individuals with low and moderate incomes by providing safe, affordable housing. Also, we partner with community services agencies to promote economic opportunity in a suitable living environment free from discrimination.
