About Housing Authority of the City of Pocatello

The Housing Authority of the City of Pocatello (HACP) was created in 1968 as a result of Idaho Code 50-1905. HACP is an independent public body governed by a five member board appointed by the Mayor.

HACP recognizes the complex challenges facing those who are in need of affordable housing. We seek to provide strategic solutions to assist them. Through the administration of several federal housing programs and the management of multiple properties owned by our agency, HACP currently assists nearly 900 households in obtaining decent, safe, and affordable housing solutions within our city.

The Board of Commissioners and Staff of HACP are committed to providing our clients with high standards of professionalism, both in the housing we provide and the customer service we deliver. We are proud of the work we do and continually strive for improvement.
