The West Palm Beach Housing Authority (WPBHA) is a public agency that was established in 1938 after the original Housing Act of 1937 became law. The agency was the ninth housing authority created in the State of Florida. The WPBHA was established to provide safe, decent and affordable housing to individuals and families with limited financial resources. The WPBHA owns and operates the Conventional Housing Program and owns 648 public housing units under this program. The WPBHA also administers 3,149 vouchers through the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
