About Del City Housing Authority

Del City became a part of Oklahoma in 1948 and was the dream of George Epperly. The City was named after Mr. Epperly's daughter Delphinia. Since its inception, the city has served both military and civilan residents.

In honor of Oklahoma's rich history the city houses the County & Western Museum, Del City Preservation & Historical Society, and War Memorial.

The Del City Housing Authority provides housing for eligible low-income individuals and families, through a contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
