The Allen Metro Housing Authority will be opening its waiting list for its housing choice voucher program, which provides rent assistance for low-income households, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday.
Applications and income guidelines are available at the housing authority’s offices at 600 S. Main St. in advance of the one-day-only opening. To sign-up, individuals are asked to complete an application prior to arriving at the authority office on Tuesday.
Low-income households in Allen, Auglaize, Mercer, Putnam and Van Wert counties may be eligible for the program.
