About Pekin Housing Authority

The Housing Authority of the City of Pekin, Illinois, was formed in April 1960 upon approval by the State Housing Board by request of the Pekin City Council. The Housing Authority currently manages 196 apartments within the City of Pekin, 12 apartments in Green Valley, 12 apartments in South Pekin and eight apartments in Mackinaw.

The Pekin Housing Authority aims to provide decent and affordable housing for low- and moderate-income residents in the Pekin area.
