The CDC operates a number of housing programs for Mendocino County including Section 8, Shelter Plus Care and Veterans Housing (VASH) rental assistance. We also manage our own housing throughout our county. We administer programs that provide funding for home purchases and housing rehabilitation.
We implement energy efficiency programs for homeowners, businesses and local governments with the assistance of PG&E. Also, we assist the City of Ukiah with their economic development programs.
Provide opportunities for decent, safe,affordable housing and suitable living environment to low and moderate-income, special needs households, and communities in an effective, efficient and respectful manner.
